Ed: Curiosity at the Core

I've been chatting quite a bit on podcasts these days.  I am beyond thankful for these opportunities to talk about all things education—especially my passion for literacy, curiosity, agency, and inquiry.Recently, I chatted with Shane Lawrence on the Ed podcast.  In addition to hosting an insightful podcast, Shane himself is also an educator in Alberta, Canada.  In this episode, we talked about the beauty and power of inquiry and creative thinking—and how embracing them changes both teachers and students for the better.  We also dove into the topic of lifelong learning and how risk-taking, curiosity, and a growth mindset are key.  Of course, my passion for reading and writing workshops was woven throughout our conversation as well.I’d love for you to check it out below.
