My Personal Playlist: IB, Literacy, and Life

It was an honor to chat with Noa Daniel on The Personal Playlist Podcast (aka P3). I am definitely a music-lover, but I had never intentionally thought about music through the lens of my own identity. I am so glad that Noa gave me the opportunity to do just that!In this episode, we discuss three songs: one that I find nostalgic, one that represents my identity, and one that inspires me. It was quite challenging to narrow down my choices and select just three songs—but it was also quite moving and thought-provoking, too. And, of course, we had to chat all things literacy and IB as well!I hope you give it a listen below. In addition to the episode, you can also enjoy an in-depth companion post written by Noa.

Listen to "P3 #80 Tonya Gilchrist" on Spreaker.

Also, if you would like to spend more time with me via podcasts, you can find them all here. How does music impact you and your identity? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments. It truly is a wonderful way to get to know ourselves and one another.
